Hydroperite for home use 50 g (Hydroperitum) - hydrogen peroxide clathrate with urea (urea). When dissolved in water, a solution of hydrogen peroxide and urea is obtained (a neutral, harmless compound, used as food supplement E927b). The content of hydrogen peroxide in the compound is 34.01%. International name: Urea peroxide (Urea peroxide).
Not a medicine!
Applicable:
- In cosmetics as an oxidizing agent for hair brighteners and permanent dyes. The urea contained in hydroperite promotes better peroxide penetration into the hair structure.
- In medicine as an antiseptic.
- For pool cleaning hydroperite dissolved in water is used, which corresponds to perhydrol. Calculation: 700 grams per 1 ton of water (1 cubic meter).
- For winterfishingas a source of oxygen.
Antiseptic
It has a disinfecting, deodorizing, hemostatic effect. Upon contact with damaged skin or mucous membranes, active oxygen is released, mechanical purification and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus) occur.
Solution preparation
- Take 15 g of hydroperite powder and grind them. Add (use a syringe for convenience) water according to the table below. To prepare high concentrations, it is necessary to use hot water and carry out the dissolution in a hot water bath. Perform all manipulations in porcelain or glassware, preferably with rubber gloves and goggles.
- To determine the amount of water and the resulting concentration, use the table:
- 3% - 15 g - 166 ml of water
- 4% - 15 g - 121 ml water
- 5% - 15 g - 94 ml water
- 6% - 15 g - 75 ml of water
- 7% - 15 g - 63 ml of water
- 8% - 15 g - 53 ml of water
- 9% - 15 g - 46 ml of water
- 10% - 15 g - 40 ml of water
- 11% - 15 g - 35 ml of water
- 12% - 15 g - 31 ml of water
- The ratios in the table are valid when calculated by proportion. For example: to prepare 100 g of a 10% solution, you need to take 15 * (15 + 40) /100=27 g of hydroperite and 100-27 = 73 g of water.
Warnings
The procedures described above are performed at your own risk. In case of side effects - immediately consult a doctor.
The antiseptic effect of hydroperite is not sterilizing, there is a temporary decrease in the number of microorganisms. Occlusive dressings should not be used. Do not use for irrigation of cavities, avoid contact with eyes.
