Pasteur pipettes are designed for dosing solutions during serological and bacteriological studies. The pipettes are made of low density polyethylene (high pressure). An embossed mark is applied to each pipette. The constant diameter of the spout allows you to always get a drop of a given volume.
Plastic Pasteur pipettes are a tube with a closed reservoir at one end that is used to fill the pipette, and at the other end with an elongated tapering spout. The closed filling reservoir ensures the safe operation of this pipette due to the fact that the formation of aerosols and their contamination of any pipette filling devices and the environment are excluded.
Single use Pasteur pipettes are made of high quality low density polyethylene (HDPE): durable, non-toxic and inert. The low adhesive properties of the material ensure complete draining of the liquid from the pipette.
