16 in 1 Drinking Water Test Kit
Litmus test strips for testing the quality of water in wells and tap water.
Test strips are used to check: drinking water, tap and well water, fresh water tanks, etc. With these test strips you can always control the quality of water, it will not be difficult for a beginner to understand these simple studies.
Tests for total alkalinity, pH, hardness, lead, copper, iron, mercury, chromium/chromium(VI), bromine, nitrate, nitrite, total chlorine, fluoride, carbonate, cyanuric acid, free chlorine.
Test strips are used in swimming pools, saunas, SPA salons, aquariums, drinking, tap, waste and other water for both qualitative and semi-qualitative analysis.
Testing is carried out on 16 elements:
- pH
- total alkalinity
- nitrates
- nitrites
- total chlorine
- residual free chlorine
- rigidity
- mercury
- copper
- bromine
- chromium
- lead
- iron
- fluoride

- cyanuric acid
Instructions for using 16 in 1 water test strips
Sample preparation should be carried out at an ambient temperature of 2 to 30 °C and a relative humidity of up to 80.
Instructions for using test strips:
Following the points will allow you to get the most accurate result (96% accuracy).
At room temperature of approximately 25°C, collect a water sample for analysis in a vial, cup or container (5-10 ml).
Immerse the test strip in the water sample for 1-2 seconds.
Holding the strip horizontally, gently tap or shake to remove excess water.
Within 60 seconds (too much or too little time will affect the readings) compare the result. Match the color of the reaction zone of the test strip with the color chart.
In good light, hold the test area near the chart on the bottle label. Color changes that appear at the edges of the test areas or after 2 minutes or more are not significant.
Precautionary measures when using test strips for water analysis:
Avoid touching areas containing reagents to avoid contaminating the test paper and affecting the test results.
After removing the required number of test sheets, keep the remaining test sheets covered and protected from light.
Try to keep the liquid being tested colorless or light. If the liquid is too dark, it can be decolorized by adsorption with activated carbon before testing. If the liquid being tested is relatively turbid, let it stand for a while and take a clean portion for testing after it settles.
Storage conditions
To avoid product damage, both during storage and during use, the following conditions must be observed:
- Store in a dry place at 2℃~30℃, keep away from direct sunlight and moisture;
- Always close the test strip container cap tightly between uses;
- do not touch any areas of the test strips containing reagents;
- do not drink the water sample in which the strip has been dipped;
- use strips before expiration date;
- Dispose of the water sample properly.
